Day 01 : Arrive Bagdogra – Darjeeling
Get assisted & welcome by our Representative at your arrival and drive to Darjeeling which will take around 03 hrs to reach. Darjeeling is one of the most famous hill stations of India referred to as “Queen of the Hills”.Darjeeling is situated on the Shiwalik Hills, which forms the lower range of the Himalayan Mountains. The word Darjeeling has come from Tibetan word, meaning a place of thunderbolt. Check-in once you arrive. The rest of the day is free to explore the surroundings on foot. Night stay: Darjeeling.

Day 02 : Sighsteeing Tour of Darjeeling
Early morning you'll be taken to Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. On way back,One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight and Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Tiger Hill. Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre(closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate(from outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Night stay: Darjeeling.

Day 03 : Drive from Darjeeling to Kalimpong (50Kms, 02 Hrs)
Morning after buffet breakfast departing Darjeeling, drive further to Kalimpong, located at an altitude of 1250 metres. The place is known for its charming nursereries and colorful flowers. Once you reach check-in and later in afternoon visit Zang Dog PalriFoBrang Monastery,MangalDhamand flower nurseries. Night stay: Kalimpong.

Day 04 : Drive from Kalimpong to Gangtok(80Kms, 03Hrs)
This day post to breakfast, we drive to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The town provides the perfect base for travel through the state. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travellers delight.
On arrival at Gangtok, check into hotel and later in the afternoon go for sightseeing tour visiting Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Flower Show, Do DrulChorten, Institute of Tibetology, Cottage Industry and Bakthang Falls. Night stay: Gangtok.

Day 05 : Gangtok
Have your breakfast at the hotel and head towards full dayexcursion to Rumtek Monastery, 24 km from Gangtok. Rumtek Monastery also known as the Rumtek Dharma Chakra Centre which is the seat of Kayupa sect which is one of the 4 major denominations of Buddhism in Tibet. Afternoon we will visit the spectacular Tashi View Point which offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu. Night stay: Gangtok.

Day 06 : Drive from Gangtok to Phuentsholing(230Kms, 05Hrs)
This morning after breakfast check out and leave for Phuentsholing. The small, sweltering border town of Phuentsholing sits opposite the much larger Indian bazaar town of Jaigaon, separated by a flimsy fence and the much-photographed Bhutan Gate. It is a fascinating place where different ethnic groups mingle prominently Indian and Bhutanese. Enjoy the journey as the breathtaking views of lush green tea plantations wash over you. On arrival check in and later in evening you will go for a sightseeing of Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang and Kharbandi Gompa. Night stay: Phuentsholing.

Day 07 : Drive from PhuentsholingtoThimphu(180Kms, 05 Hrs)
Today after breakfast, you'll be heading to Thimphu, the capital city of Kingdom of Bhutan. Thimphu is mix of modern and traditional. It is the administrative centre of the government, it's the hub of all commercial activities, and it's also the heart of religious actions. En route, visit KharbandiGoemba, a magnificent monastery. Close to Thimphu, halt to visit Simtkha Dzong (dzong - fort),the oldest fort of Bhutan built in 1627. The Dzong nowadays houses a school for Buddhist studies.On arrival in Thimphu, check into a hotel for overnight stay. On arrival at Thimphu, day is free for relaxation. Night stay: Thimphu.

Day 08 : Thimphu
After buffet breakfast at hotel, set out for sightseeing of Thimphu visiting Tashichhodzong, the 'castle of glorious religion', Memorial Chorten, commemorating third ruler of the Kingdom, Government Handicrafts Emporium, Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, Traditional Medicine Institute and Art School. Evening free for leisure at hotel. Night stay: Thimphu.

Day 09 : Drive from Thimphuto Punakha (50Kms, 02Hrs)
Leaving Thimphu after a leisurely breakfast and we drive to Punakha. On the way you will see the legendry Dochula Pass which heralds mesmerizing views of three peaks, you can enjoy the enhanting view of Bhutan also. Check in to the hotel on arriving. The rest of the day is set for city tour of Punakha covering the marvelous imposing fort PunakhaDzong and the KhamsumYulleyNamgyalChorten.
Also drive to Wangduephodrang for exploring the splendid WangduephodrangDzong, perched atop a hill towering above the confluence of Tang Chhu and PunakhaChhu rivers. Night stay: Punakha.

Day 10 : Drive from Punakha to Paro (90Kms, 03Hrs)
After breakfast check out and head towards Paro, a spectacular valley. Paro is the storehouse of traditions, rich culture, mythologies and legends. The Paro Valley is wide and verdant and is recognized a one of the most beautiful in all Bhutan.
Check-in to your hotel, relax for some time. Later in the afternoon you will explore Ta Dzong-constructed during 1951 originally as a watch tower, National Museum of the Kingdom and lastly the RinpungDzong- a huge Drukpa Kagyu Buddhist monastery and fortress.Night stay: Paro.

Day 11 : Paro
In the morning, after savory breakfast you'll be escorted to ruined fortress of DrukgyelDzong. The ruins of this fort tell the stories of Bhutanese warriors who defended a host of invasions by Tibetan armies. Next, you will visit a traditional farm house to know the culture & lifestyle of local people. In evening, visit Taktsang Monastery, a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and visit KyichuLhakhang, one of the holiest shrines of Bhutan. Night stay: Paro.

Day 12 : Paro – Departure
The Himalayan Odyssey Tour ends today. After buffet breakfast at hotel, transferred to Paro airport on time to board your flight back home.
