The tour will begin from Ahmedabad and Gondal will be your first destination. Full of palaces and other princely buildings, Gondal is famous for its handicrafts. From there you will be travelling to Gir via Junagad. The latter is known for its National Park where there are at least 200 lions residing within the protected area. The tour will end at Ahmedabad before visiting Jamnagar, Kutch, Dasada and Patan. Beautiful salt lands await you at Kutch and if possible try to come here at the time of annual kite festival.

Day 01 : Arrive Ahmedabad
Upon your arrival, receive a warm welcome at airport by our Representative in Indian form of greetings and get transferred to hotel. Ahmedabad, well developed economical hub in India with a busy modern life. This city is served as the capital of Gujarat. The old charm of the city still continues with distinctive cultures. Ahmedabad stands apart with fascinating tangle of old quarter along with excellent museums, majestic monuments, gloomy markets and literary centers. Regain stamina and get out to visit Calico Museum – foremost textile museums having gigantic heap of variant fabrics. Remainder of the day is free to know the city better for the next day expedition. Night stay: Ahmedabad.

Day 02 : Ahmedabad – Gondal (260 Kms, 05hrs)
Today, have delicious breakfast at the hotel and start the expedition. Drive from Ahmedabad to Sayla. Explore the Sayla village and walk through the old houses, temples, arduous bead working and how the locals come up with beautiful master pieces of handicrafts. Later, drive further to Gondal – a princely state in Gujarat, a place mix of culture and religion that had its marked effects on its arts and handicrafts.We visit the Navlakha Palace – oldest and fascinating palace displaying antiques, paintings, stone carvings of bygone era. Navlakha Palace is well known for its hand painted wooden toys, silverwork, brassware and colorful bazaars with variety of textiles and handicrafts of multiple designs of unique styles and techniques.

Day 03 : Gondal - Jetpur - Junagadh–Gir (150 Kms, 03hrs)
Leave Gondal and travel beyond to Jetpur. Jetpur being a large centre of cotton printing, screen printing and block printing. Visit to factories of block and screen printing visualizing the techniques and process involved in manufacturing the master pieces. Drive further and stop at Junagadh to explore the palace museum to see the colorful medley of vibrant carpets and Nawabi textiles.Continue Drive to Gir followed by a night stay.

Day 04 : Gir - Jamnagar (250 Kms, 05hrs)
Post to breakfast, move to Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary to explore the Asiatic Lions, large population of marsh Crocodiles, tawny Eagles etc. through a jungle safari. Continue driving by road and reach Jamnagar. Jamnagar, an another engrossing city popularly known for its colorful bazars and tie - dye art. Bandhani, (the tye and dye fabric) is famous for their intricate designs and patterns. Jamnagar the Jewel of Kathiawar, is on the coast of Gulf of Kutch in the state of Gujarat, India. Jamnagar, being the capital of princely state is famous for its hilltop temples, brass article work and world’s biggest oil refinery.

Day 05 : Jamnagar - Kutch (350 Kms, 06 hrs)
Today, travel towards Anjar, popularly known for its metal work and tie and dye art. On arrival, explore the remarkable art work and move toGandhidham, mainly visited for its astonishing textile market. Explore the market and enjoy. Night stay – Kutch.

Day 06 : Kutch - Bhuj
Today, walk around the Kutch and visit Bhuj- a charming destination for textile artists. Bhuj is a place well known for its handicrafts, Khachh embroideries, historical buildings and art. A permit is required with the tourists for excursion to the place. Head out exploring the landmark along with markets and famous Bhuj’s attractions like Pragmahal Palace and AinaMahal watching Gujarat culture embedded in the people.Night stay – Kutch.

Day 07 : Kutch –SodhaRajputs
After having savory breakfast at the hotel, we move to see the villages of SodhaRajputs. Pastrol groups of both Muslims and Hindus are dwelling into this place. People lead a simple life with no luxuries.Spend the entire day experiencing their livelihood .
Night stay: Kutch.

Day 08 : Kutch - Dasada (350 Kms, 06hrs)
Post to breakfast, start driving towards Dasada, famous for its Bharwad embroidery and VadiaraRabari. Also, explore the work of local artisans and weavers. Stay overnight at the hotel in Dasada.

Day 09 : Dasada - Patan
Morning drive to Patan. Visit the Salvis of Patan who are popularly known for their Patola silk weaving or Double Ikat weaving. Patan is famous for its colorful geometrical pattern, which are strikingly beautiful. The unique tie and weave method of Patola results in identical patterns on both the sides of the fabric. Handwoovensarees of Patola is World famous. Drive back to hotel in Dasada.

Day 10 : Dasada– Ahmedabad (100 Kms, 02 hrs) - Departure
Today, in the morning, leave by road for Ahmedabad and get transferred to the Airport to board the flight for onwards journey. Here yourTextiles and Handicrafts Trip of Gujarat ends.
