Post to breakfast we drive to Airport to fly for Aurangabad. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Relax and gain some stamina to visit the best of natural beauties, some offer stunning efforts of man in the forms of monuments, buildings, forts and many more. The name of the city ‘Aurangabad’ is named after the Mughal king Aurangzeb. It is also called as the City of Gates.The city is brimming with rich culture, historical attractions and famous Mughlai cuisine. Visit the famous Bibi Ka Maqbara – sole illustration of Mughal architecture built by Aurangzeb’ son to pay homageto his mother Begum Rabia Durani. Today we drive further to Ellora Caves by car. Ellora Caves are spaced over 2 kilometers and there are 34 caves representing three religions namely Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. The Ellora Caves inhouses various monasteries and temples.The 16th Cave named Kailasa is the largest monolithic structure in the world with magnificinet stonework depicting different legends. After having breakfast drive to Ajanta caves, masterpieces of artistry and skills of Indians and thus recognized as the World’s Heritage sit By UNESCO. The series of 29 caves along with monasteries were discovered in 19th century and were built in 2nd century.The Budhists art, paintings , murals and sculptures depicts the mythological history of ancient times belonging to events of life of the Prince. The caves are sculpted in a manner to capture entire Ajanta site from a platform. Spend the entire day exploring the extravagant monumental caves. Later, drive back to hotel for well-earned repose.
